Hierarchy of Convenient Food

June 22, 2011 5:47pm

I have never really been a fan of fast food, but of course, working at a pr agency requires this LA Publicist to run from the office to an event, back to the office, to a meeting and on and on, one may need to have a quick meal, say a fast food meal. While I have never been a fond of the Big Mac or chicken nuggets, I have always had a weakness for In-N-Out. I could eat a cheeseburger protein style, fries and a chocolate shake nearly every day. Maybe that’s an exaggeration- so let’s be safe and say once a week.

That being said, when the Orange County Register called Capriotti’s the “In-N-Out of sub shops” it made my heart melt a little. Capriotti’s has always had a huge fan base, mainly in Delaware and Las Vegas, and can hope to one day have the county-wide superstar status of In-N-Out. But no worries, they’re getting there! Check out the piece below.

One way this pr agency gets our clients get extra attention is through the amazing people that run the companies. Case and point, Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s.  As CEO of a well-known company, aspiring entrepreneurs and other small business owners look to them for guidance which is why Ashley’s advice has been picked up by AOL Small Business. IFA

February 15, 2011 9:32am

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to attend the International Franchise Association Convention in Las Vegas! Capriotti’s is attending and is an exhibitor to the convention which attracts some of the largest and most successful franchises in the world. The list of attendees serves as the who’s who in the franchise business world.

I attended a session titled, “How to Refresh, Protect & Enhance Your Brand: Delivering a Consistent Customer Experience as You Grow” and listened to leaders of franchises including A&W Restaurants, Tasti D Lite and The UPS Store. Those speaking talked about successful re-branding and not as successful branding attempts,  hoping to share their knowledge with the people in the room.

The image below is of the CEO of Capriotti’s, Ashley Morris on the convention floor of IFA. Conventions like IFA are important for the insights about the latest and greatest in franchises and the invaluable face-to-face networking.  IFA is the type of convention where CEOs of major companies actually walk the floor, shake hands and learn from peers.

As Capriotti’s PR agency, it is important to attend these events with the client in order to share and exchange any thoughts that may come about from walking the convention floor, attending sessions or just a random thought from a fellow franchise.

IFA is an incredibly important and amazing resource for all types of franchises.  While networking and new connections are important, the knowledge learned at events such as IFA’s annual convention may just change the way a franchise conducts business on a day-to-day basis or just plant a seed that will take root in 10 years. Regardless, attending conventions allows both clients and publicists to be better at what they do.

Capriotti’s Starts Holiday Giving

December 15, 2010 6:59pm

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop got a jump on holiday giving by generously donating $10,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Southern Nevada, the leader in breast cancer research and education. The proceeds were generated by Capriotti’s “Save The Bobbies” campaign, wherein all Las Vegas-area Capriotti’s donated 25 cents from the sale of each of its famous Bobbie sandwiches to the cause.

Take a look at QSR’s posting of the information!

‘Tis the Season for Capriotti’s

November 23, 2010 5:11pm

As I have mentioned before on this blog, Capriotti’s makes an amazing, award-winning sandwich called The Bobbie. Made with turkey roasted in-store each night, whole cranberry sauce, homemade stuffing and mayo on a fresh sub roll, The Bobbie is the king of the sandwich world and a tribute to the flavors of Thanksgiving year-round.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, The Bobbie has gotten love from local TV stations in markets where Capriotti’s restaurants are located. Today, WITI, the FOX affiliate in Milwaukee, Wisc., featured The Bobbie on their morning show, Wakeup on Fox 6!

Every PR agency loves morning TV – you catch people as they’re getting ready for work and beginning to start their day. Seeing Capriotti’s delicious sandwiches may incite viewers to try them out for lunch that day, and boom: new customer! And new customers are always the goal, no matter what product you’re repping.

So if you’re in Milwaukee, go check out Capriotti’s in Chase Tower! You won’t be sorry (except you may develop intense cravings, as our office often does!)
