New Year, New Ideas, New Clients!
January 9, 2012 5:06pm2012 is bring a lot of exciting things to this pr agency. We are starting the new year with new ideas, new employees and new clients!
One client which I have started working on is Babiators, a line of pint-size aviators for babies and children! This is one of those clients that when anyone sees it they have an instantaneous reaction of “awww”. The Konnect PR girls sure experienced this when we got a shipment of samples sent to our office. After checking out the samples and having continuous aww’s throughout the office, we all discussed about buying pairs for nieces, nephews, cousins and obviously wishing we had our own kids just so we could put a pair of these sunglasses on them!
These peepers sure put a big smile on our faces!

An LA Publicist’s Thanksgiving
November 28, 2011 6:21pmThis LA Publicist’s Thanksgiving consisted of nothing from the exception including eating, spending time with family and relaxing. While we try to stay as traditional with the thanksgiving customs, my family, like most of our pr agency, brings its cultural flair to the mix. No Thanksgiving of ours is complete without a small touch of the ethnic Indian flavor, this year in form of a Garbanzo Bean salad!
This year I spent the weekend in Arizona, a long-standing tradition we have with our family friends (going on 20 years to be exact!), and while we were missing a few family members, it was still pretty awesome! Everything from the food, to staying up until 3:00 just catching up, to uncontrollable laughter, I would call it a pretty successful Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Is Only a Week Away
November 17, 2011 6:26pm7 days left and counting until this LA publicist’s favorite holiday of the year. Every year I look forward to Thanksgiving because it is that wonderful time of year when I get to spend quality time with my family and enjoy tons of delicious food. We are even having our own little Thanksgiving feast here at Konnect PR and we are planning to go all out with a turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce and sparkling apple cider.

LA Publicist Cracks UP…Literally
November 10, 2011 5:59pmOne of our daily tasks working at a pr agency is to research media outlets and find potential features that would be a good fit for our clients. While I was busy working on this task, I came across something that I felt obliged to share with everyone here at Konnect PR.
Want to know what made everyone at this pr agency go “AWWWWW!” See for yourself….
Isn’t this the cutest picture ever!!? Not only does it mention one of my favorite Pixar movies of all time, “Up,” but the little boy in this picture is a spitting image of the old man, Carl, from the movie (except about 70 years younger). This LA publicist absolutely loves this picture! So much so, that whenever I am having a down moment, I pull up this picture and I crack a smile.

The Winner of The Great Grannyism Cap-Off Contest is Finally Unveiled
October 27, 2011 6:34pmThis LA Publicist is so excited that Sweet Leaf Tea declared the winner of their Great Grannyism Cap-Off Contest this week! Coincidentally the winner, Angela Buraglia, is from Austin which is also the home of Sweet Leaf Tea.
With over 3,000 entries, Angela was selected as one of the top 5 entries with the most votes and was chosen as the winner by the Sweet Leaf Tea team. As such she will get her Grannyism – “A watched pot never boils.” – placed on the bottom of Sweet Leaf Tea bottle caps everywhere as Grannyism #79.

A New LA Publicist Joins Konnect Public Relations
September 1, 2011 6:49pmThis is just my second week at Konnect Public Relations and I am having such a blast! I am still quite new to the LA pr agency scene, but I have already learned so much in such little time!
I am so thrilled to say that I am beginning a new chapter in my life as an LA publicist at a pr agency that has so much to offer me…with a new office, new experiences, new clients and new co-workers. Everyday I have something new to look forward to, so don’t worry, I’ll be sure to drop by again soon and keep all of you in the loop!
